What is going on here?

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
I cant understand how my boyfriend feels about me, we have been together 2 years and live together, once every week we have dinner at my parents and while we are there he talks to me and is laughing etc with everyone, then we go home and sometimes we will have a nice chat on the way home but as soon as he gets in the front door he then starts to behave as if i mean nothing to him, ignoring me and such.
I dont understand this as when we are out he is nice and chatty to me it is only when we are at home that he will ignore me or snap at me for saying something as if that makes him aware i am there.
He says he loves me but im not so sure how can i find out what is going on here?

RomanceClass.com Advice
He seems to understand that in public he should be nice to you.

But, in private he has gotten into a habit of not talking to you or belittling you. This is a terrible thing for you to endure. You must get him to start talking to you. Take it a little piece at a time. Try to find out why he won't talk you at home and isn't nice.

Meanwhile it can never hurt to try to strengthen aspects of a good relationship some of which are: respect, reliability, good-humor, communications, trust, mutual attraction, honesty, and tenderness.

Work hard on your part to do this and perhaps he will come around. Don't push too hard for communications at the beginning, but always try to advance it bit by bit.

Given some time, he may just have a turnaround in his actions.
For your sake I sure hope so.

Good luck,
George
