Testing my patience
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old FemaleI broked up with my boyfriend about a few weeks ago.He dump me.His reason for breaking up is my attitude and i didnt appreciate him for who he is.When i asked him why is he doing this when he once promised me he will never ever dump me.He told me promises come under circumstance.I told him i once did promised him that if he ever dumps me, i'll wait for him to take me back.Thats exactly what I'm doing right now just to prove to him that promises doesnt come under circumstance. He said I have changed. In other words, I guess I am a bitch to him.I am trying to be myself again (which I now think I am). Before we broke up, he also told me he still thinks I am the cutest girl in the world.I want to show him that i am still the girl he once loved.I tried talking to him about getting back again but he doesn't seem to care anymore. He now has a new crush. He told me there are better guys out there.I know he doesn't want me to be sad and move on with life but i love him!!! How can i make him love me the way he used to?I really want him to regret for dumping me. Please help! Right now, getting back with him seems hopeless.I am letting time fix this. I take this situation as a test from God on testing my patience.
RomanceClass.com AdviceYour predicament may take a lot of patience.
He dumped you because he was unhappy with the relationship. Can you show him how your relationship could change for the better? These things (and more) are important to a relationship: friendship, trust, honesty, attraction, respect, communications, reliability, friendliness and more.
Can you start working on those things and make him feel good again about your relationship? It will take some time, so your patience will be tested.
Give it a try and I wish you the best of luck!
