Wants to be friends with her ex again

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
About five months ago my best friend's brother,*him* and i broke up, because i cheated on him. Nothing big, just heavily making-out, but still cheating. Well me and *him* broke up when he found out and well it ended really bad. I got to say i was sorry and then we sed bye and never really talked abt that again. I was over his house abt maybe 2 or 3 months ago and he was very nice to me, thats just his nature. He asked how i was and that was it. I haven't worked up enough courage to ask him if we're okay with each other and if there is any chance of us being friends in the future. He's a really great guy and i loved when we were friends. If he hasn't said anything to me in 5 months, should I even bring it up? What if he rejects me completely? How do I prepare myself for that?

The only way to find out is to ask him.

This takes bravery and the ability to tolerate a rejection. It sounds to me that he will not reject you. But if he does, it is better that you asked him that to have to wonder.
