He's confused

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
well i still have feelings for my ex. and i talked to my ex a couple days ago. and well knowing him he had terrible past relationships (involving being cheated on). and even though i havent been with him that long about 6 months. he said i was the first girl that cared for him supposedly. and that he wants to stay friends with me. the problem is that i want to stay friends with him. but he confuses me so much. like one day he'll say he misses me and being close. and i'd get all jittery about it. and then the day i talked to him he was like i care a lot for you but i don't think i can ever love someone. i'm confused.

You are confused because he is confused.

Since you are good enough friends to be talking with each other, take advantage of this communications to build up your relationship (if that is what you want to do).

Get him to share his feelings with you, respect him, give him support and pay attention to him and he will be attracted to you and perhaps start to develop loving feelings for you.
