I recently got a call off my best mate to say he cheated on me

my boyfriend went to a party a few months ago, and I recently got a call off my best mate to say he cheated on me with a mutual friend at this party. I don't know how to ask him if its true or not, as it could just be a nasty rumor and i'd end up looking like a fool! please help!

You might want to trace back the rumor as far as you can and see where it ends up.

Meanwhile, tell your boyfriend about the rumor and ask for his version of what happened.

I hope he didn't cheat because it could lead to repeat behavior in his future including marriage. If you are thinking of cheating -- don't do it!
