so my guy broke up with me about 5 months ago because I told him that he wasn't rich enough and that he should of thought about everything before he got himself a girlfriend (me). The only reason I had said that was because we hadn't seen each other for about 2 months and when we did he told me that he didn't love me as much. The thing with him is that the less he's with someone then the less he feels for them. He said that we could be friends but he was ignoring me, acting really cold, and i'd be the one to always call and he would be the one to always hang up first after like 3 min. He would ignore me when we would be at a party. In March a friend of mine went up to him and brought both of us outside and convinced him to give me a second chance and he agreed so we made up but he promised me that he would "try" to work it out btwn us. He kept his promise for a week and then after that he just disapeared. In april I asked him to come with one of mutual friends birthday parties in the city ... there was alot of attraction btwn us, it was as if we were gf and bf again like the old times and by the end of the night he kissed me and we made out but then he said "no this is a mistake" and then after that he kissed me again and we made out 2x ...after that I didnt hear from him for another week and a half or so. He was throwing a party that I attended..we said hi but ignored each other throughout the night while he flirted with other girls that he told me he hates in front of me. At the end of the night i went to say goodnight and his best friend didnt know that we had broken up. As i was talking to his friend he told me about how my ex always talks about me and that he knows for a fact that my ex still loves me .so his friend went and talked to him and then when i walked in he grabbed me and kissed me on the cheek and held me really tight and wouldnt let me go, then he kissed my hand and then held it, and then kissed me on the cheek again like 10x and wouldnt stop hugging me,then he stared in my eyes and told me how beautiful i looked....his friend told him in front of me, "stop it just kiss and make up" and all he could was just kiss me on the cheek do and then i had to leave to drive my friend back home ..so then i called the next day and then due to a religious holiday we didnt speak for a week.... and a whole month after that until this sat may 14...when we saw each other ...at first he was kind of cold but he was checking me out and then by the end of the night he was warming up to me, when we were sitting he had his arm around me and he came close enough so our legs touched and i put my hand on his leg and he was flirting with me. one of the ppl asked us how we knew each other and he answered "we're good friends, uh-huh(in a sarcastic tone).....we used to date" by the end of the night he was touching my stomach and i grabbed his fingers and held on and then he was just gazing into my eyes that i could tell he still loves and wants to be with me but for some reason he's holding back...and then he hugged and kissed me onthe cheek again and didnt let go which kind of surprised me ...that night i could tell, he made it obvious that he was still in love with me ....so my question is ..what do i do next? how can i break that wall that he has put up between us ..because i know that in his heart he wants to be with me because he's still in love with me but for some reason he's scared? how can i show him that he shouldnt be? whenever i talk about us he always runs away by saying that he "better go" or that "hes busy" ... all i do is just cry because i cant live without him, im still in love with him, i want to spend my life with him even if he isnt rich. I love him for him. How can I prove that to him? How do i break that wall? PLEASE HELP MEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! IM STILL IN LOVE HIM/ ALWAYS WILL BE AND I CANT LIVE WITHOUT HIM/ DONT WANT TO LIVE WITHOUT HIM!!!!!!!!!!! please tell me what to do to get him back? - I really appreciate it ...if I dont get a straight answer I dont know what im going to do with myself and NO i dont need a councilor . . . I just need my baby back in my life because he is my life and without him i cant live ... thank you

First off, make sure he knows that you don't care if he is rich or not.

You really screwed things up by telling him he wasn't rich enough. This undermined his confidence and reduced his feelings for you. You are going to have to tell him you love him over and over.

Take advantage of your opportunities for talking to build up the relationship that you had. The way to do this is to have significant communications with honest, respect, attentiveness, caring, and trust. This is the way you can convince him of your love. When people share long, deep conversations they naturally build up the emotions that go with it. He will feel more open about his feelings if you can get him to talk. Be gentle about it and go slowly, I am sure you can do it.

And, when he kisses you on the cheek, kiss him back!
