i am depressed and feel like i am the worst person in the world

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
First of all, i cheated on my boyfriend with a girl! and i told him and we are through and the girl does not return any of my phone calls and i am depressed and feel like i am the worst person in the world. I was wondering if I should pursue the relationship with the girl and try to get her to talk to me or should i just leave her alone?

You are not the worst person in the world, you aren't even a bad person.

Keep trying to contact the girl including writing a letter if necessary. There is no reason why she should be acting as she is.

Perhaps it was her first time and she is shy about it or has second thoughts. You at least deserve an explanation.
