My first girlfriend broke up w/ me a few weeks ago
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old MaleDear Love Guru,
My first girlfriend broke up w/ me a few weeks ago. I just don't know how to talk to her anymore. I've known her since first grade but we started dating about four months ago. She broke up with me because she said we didn't see each other much, which is true. We talked a bunch but we really only saw each other about two times a week. Is that enough time to be with each other? All i know is that I loved every moment of our time together and (she doesn't know this) I would do anything for her, even tho she did break up with me. I'm not trying to sound posessive but I want her to be mine again. I know I cant controll what she wants and I can accept the fact that she might never be in my arms again but I would give my life for her to live. I just want her to be happy with someone and I would love for it to be me. I am told (from my youth group leader)that I don't know what love is yet so I can't truly say I love her. I would die if anything happens to her because, as far as I know, I do love her. I apollogize for this being so long of a statement but I would be much obliged if you would give me some advice to get back the one I love.
Thank you for your time,
Sammy 15
RomanceClass.com AdviceShe said the problem was that you don't see each other enough.
Can't you think of some ways to increase the time together? On the weekend you could ask her out to the movies, or a restaurant, or just ask her over to hang out.
If there are any clubs in your school, try joining one together.
Have a party and invite her.
Since you love her so much, don't give up hope easily.
Be inventive and try to fix the problem she gave.
Good luck!
George
