my girlfriend is going away for 2 months to europe and going on a 2 week contiki tour during that time
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Malehey, im having some problems with my current relationship. my girlfriend is going away for 2 months to europe and going on a 2 week contiki tour during that time, ive then decided to go to overseas because i was offered a job for 3 months and wasnt going to take it because of leaving my girlfriend but since shes going i cannot stand to be left behind. shes told me she wants to go on a break for the 3months and cant promise me well get back together cause she thinks things could change. this whole scenario is killing me, as i keep playing these stories in my head of her with other guys, cause her holiday is going to be much more lively than mine. shell be partying in islands etc and the contiki reputation of being sex holidays etc is making it all the worst. everytime we talk about it we just fight and for the past 2 months everytime 99% of my thoughts are related to her and the emotional pain has been agony i cant focus on anything my studying is failing because of this aswell. i leave in a week and it s at the stage were all i think about is her, if she siad on the day before i go please stay and come with me I WOULD eevn though ive paid for it, even though id miss a great experince and i know that a normal person would not be like that theyed think of themselves above anyone. i sick of feeling like this, i need some advice, what do you think i should do?
RomanceClass.com AdviceYou are faced with a no choice situation.
She is doing something without you and you will just have to deal with it and the jealousy that goes along for the ride.
In my last email to you, I described how to fight jealousy and how difficult it is to do. As a review: you attack each and every jealous thought and feeling that arises and tell it that it is a falsehood and that you are going to ignore it. Hard work and it may take 100's of times before the jealousy gives up.
By the way, your decision to go abroad is an excellent one and should help distract you from your worries. Have a blast!
I wish the best to you!
