i feel like i have all the burdens in the world when i should be having fun
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old MaleDear love advice,
my girlfriend and I have been together for 2 years now. She has just started a job that requires her to work long hours. And when she has time off i am at school or working my self. When we do have free time she allways seems to spend it with her friends. I arrange plans and she is allways doing things. Now I talked to her about it. She allways gets angry and tells me she never sees her friends when she see them at least 3 times a week. Her firends are really rude depsite me trying to be nice. They tell her when i can see her, and say nasty things about who she got with in her past. This makes me feel like so down. How can i make her see her friends treat me like crap and how i am not making her decide bewteen her friends and my self cause she allways picks her friends, and i am there to clean the mess up. How can I make see this, she is going stupid, and sometimes i fell like hurting my self to make her see my pain. Everythings is falling apart, we never make love, I do all i can do, my moods are so random. please help i am 19yrs old but i feel like i have all the burdens in the world when i should be having fun
RomanceClass.com AdviceYou are 19 and should be having the best times of your life!
It isn't clear to me why your girlfriend is hurting you the way she is. She obviously has a lot of stress on her. You are also under a lot of stress. Perhaps when your school is over things will improve.
Meanwhile, try your best to get her to communicate well with you. That is one of the most important parts of a relationship. You should be working at having love, respect, trust, truthfullness, closeness, and friendliness every time you contact her. She needs you to be a good place to be and she will seek you out instead of her friends.
Give her little presents to surprise her with your love. Make sure your remember every holiday (example: her birthday) and make it special for her. The more little things and the more loving you are, the more she will want to be with you.
I wish you all the luck in the world!
