Me and my girlfriend have been dating for eight months. For the both of us this is the longest relationship we've had. We're both very jealous about our pasts and it effects me very much so. I always get flashbacks about her kissing some guy she liked, sitting on his chest and calling some guy who liked her "babe". It always makes me brake down and start to shake. I don't know if I should tell her that this bugs me a lot, I'm scared. Some times when I kiss her I get these images in my head with her and that other guy. She does certain things with me that she did with him. Please help me, I hurt so much inside.

Everyone has past experiences with lovers.

If you think this is tough now, and if you don't change your ways, you will be miserable for the rest of your life. You have to tell yourself that it is NOT important what happened before. She was living her life trying to have fun and explore reality... you were doing the same. You can't erase the past, so don't try and don't worry about it.

If jealous thoughts come into your mind, tell them to GO AWAY and not bother you because your girlfriend is yours now and she loves you. Do this 100 times and the jealous feelings will give up and stop bothering you.

Be strong, be brave... fight against this useless worrying about the past.
