i got a great job enrolled in school and am now kickin butt!

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
well my girlfriend and i have been brokenup for 3 months now and i really do think i am over her, the only problem is that we talk almost everyday still and its the highlight of my day. now when i was with her i was kind of a loser, i worked at gnc makin 6.50 an hour, wasent in school and had no motivation to. well she never ever called me a loser or made fun of me, but she did try to motivate me but i just thought well shes in love with me and she is goin to stick by me. well she said that she didnt feel it with me anymore and i was crushed. anyway after that i got a great job enrolled in school and am now kickin butt! and her and i are like closer now then we were then. now the trick is i know that if we date again i am goin to fall back in the same pattern, just want to see her 24/7. so what should i do just ride it out as friends or try to be her man again?

Stay with your job and schooling.

This is one thing that she is attracted to. Go back to being her boyfriend if you have the strength to keep up with your studies.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to be with someone 24/7 as long as you don't actually do.
