I just want to know if it is a bad idea to have a sexual relationship with an ex (both of us are single so there are no one else's feelings to consider). Does this kind of relationship usually end up as more eventually, or will it ruin things between us?

It's a crap shoot.

If I had to guess, having sex would tend to bring you closer in the long term than it would have ruining your relationship.

It would be good to have a talk about this subject before beginning.
