I sent her a secret valentine. But she shot me down
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old MaleOk, I've been good friends with her 1+ years. But I've always had stronger feelings for her. I told her after about 3 months of friendship, and was denied. Then after 6 months of friendship (on Valentine's Day) I sent her a secret valentine. But she shot me down, even though I denied the valentine in the first place. Anyway, I had helped her get through this guy who treated her like crap. After that, I got the feeling that she liked me more. She left for the summer, but we write each other a lot, and we both love to talk about all the good times we had (I said we were good friends). Its half-way through the summer, and she could make a phone call, and she immediatly called me instead of any of her other friends. She also sited in her e-mail specifically that there were no summer romances. She writes how she misses me even though she used tell me that the summer is her favorite time of the year, especially on vacation. Does she like me, and what should I do/say?
RomanceClass.com AdviceIt's hard to say whether she has developed a liking for you or not.
She certainly likes you as a friend, of that there is no doubt. But you want to take it to the next stage. And, you have failed twice already on that.
My advice is to remain close friends with her for the rest of the summer and when she returns tell her you have developed feelings for her and find out whether she feels the same. All you do is keep trying. Your strongest asset is that you are her very good friend.
Good luck!
