my ex and i broke up 2 months ago but remained close friends and lovers. i recently found out he was seeing someone else and he had lied about it when i asked him. we had a fight and i was crushed. he said that no matter what happens he wants to remain friends but we should date outher people. i am so in love with him and want him to be happy. it crushes my heart that we are not together. about 6 months ago he asked me to marry him and be together forever. i dont know how it went wrong but i really want to get him back. is this possible when he is with someone new? please help, thanks

If you really want him back, you should stick with the status quo and not worry about the girlfriend. This would not be pleasant for you or for the girlfriend if she finds out. But sometimes you have to do what you have to do.

Consider also how he will feel about you cheating with him on his new girlfriend. He may not think much of you if you continue to do it.

All in all, my suggestion is to drop him and find someone new.
