I talked to my ex yesterday to get closure
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old MaleI talked to my ex yesterday to get closure. I'm surprised, first of all, that she decided to talk about it. Any time before, she wouldn't even want to speak on it. I really love this girl and she still wants us to be friends and hang out. She still would like me to come visit her 1 yr. old daughter who I been a father to for the last 20 months or so. I love the daughter as well. She calls me daddy. I can't be in a situation because of a child. She doesn't want me out of her life. She said if she left e for anything, its for serenity, and peace of mind. Right now she doesn't see us getting back together.
I also told her that I went out with someone else last week and she said was that suppose to make her jealous. If that was an attempt, it didn't work, but she kept talking about ti calling me a hypocrite and all. I didn't get mad. She thought I did this while she was gone, but what difference does it make if we're not together? This was last Tuesday and she was home. I would have taken her, but she was upset with me. She still tells me things before anybody else. I don't know what to make of all this. Is she really jealous?
RomanceClass.com AdviceInstead of closure you got openness.
You are very fortunate that she wants to be your friend and still include you in her life. Sure she's a little jealous... those feelings don't die away instantly once you break up.
Take advantage of her offer of friendship and try to be the best friend you possible can be. This will present you in your best light and she will enjoy it. And you will get to enjoy the little girl who calls you "Daddy."
Best of wishes to you !
