I know we're young, but I know how love is: it's a very nice feeling.
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old MaleEver since my girlfriend and I have been going out (long-distance) since January 2005, we've been having so many good times on the phone. We've known each other for 3 years and to me, she is very nice. This last sunday on the 28 of August, she broek up with me because she wanted to see if she really loved me or not. Ever since she's loved being single because she can do things without feeling bad because her and I are together. There's this guy she said she liked, and wanted to hang out. She wanted a guy to be there in person, but she's still single. I really want her back because she's made my life so happy (sleeping very nice at night comfortably). I've had ex's, but I never loved her as much as anyone else in my life. I just wish she felt like me, not needing the person there physically. It is hard, I know. We talked everynight about 3 hrs or more. I just dont know what to do. I really loved her and still do. Is there anything I can do to get her back? She told me I have another chance if I moved down at her state. We planned to go to the same college, and I still plan that. Is it possible it could happen if we live in the same state? I have 2 more years of high school (currently junior)and I hope we can get back together. We planned to move in and have a family. I.. just don't know what happened to all of that in her. Thanks for your help if you can. I am 16 by the way. I know we're young, but I know how love is: it's a very nice feeling.
RomanceClass.com AdviceLong distance puts a strain on every relationship.
You haven't much choice but to give her what she wants and hope for the best.
Since you are still good friends, you could call her once a week and ask her how she is doing... perhaps after time she will feel the need to be with you again.
Sorry you are in this situation!
