My friend and I have been friends since the fifth grade

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
My friend and I have been friends since the fifth grade. I am in the tenth grade now and we recently have been hanging out more than normal. I have loved her since the eighth grade and I am trying to ease into the relationship without ruining the friendship. I have read all the articles. I have a feeling she may feel the same way. She was chatting with a friend on the internet about a friend who she got the impression just wanted to be "buddies". She said that it hurt her because she wanted to be more, but when she saw I was watching said she he was talking about someone I did not know. What should I do?

RomanceClass.com Advice
The answer is not to difficult if you have the courage.

Next time you are alone with her tell her that you are "developing feelings" for her. Listen careful to what she says. She may need time to figure out exactly what to say so don't be upset if she doesn't come right back and say she likes you too. If this happens, wait a few days and ask her if she has had a chance to think about what you said the other day.

Good luck!
George
