Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
me and my girlfriend of 3 and a half years have broken up and its about 2 weeks now everytime i try to say hi to her she says its to hard to talk to me i wanna be freinds and of course be that man she first fell in love with but my question what should i do she wont talk to me she wont give me a straight up answer she says she needs time to heal for what though she broke my heart.i wanna be with her but i think its pointless to try i thinks she moved on already

You didn't mention why she broke up with you.

Three and a half years is a long time and it's only been two weeks that you are apart. Give her more time before you try to make up with her. Wait two weeks and then check in with her to ask her how she is doing. Don't bring up your relationship except to make sure she knows you still love her.

Work hard to be her best friend and a friendly shoulder to lean on.

As time goes by she may learn to love you again.
