My boyfriend and broke up recently. We both still have strong feelings for each other. He said he cant trust me because of an incident that i didnt tell the whole truth about. It was four months ago and i was scared that if i told him he we would be over. He said hes not mad about what happened, hes just upset about the lies and cover ups. I really miss him but i think i really hurt him. I wasnt trying to. I just wanted us to stay together like he wanted. I want to gain his trust back and i want things to go back to how they were before. I want to be back in a relationship with him. He really meant alot to me and i love him with all my heart. What can i do to try and make things work out between us?

The best way to work this out is through talking.

Have long, loving, trusting, honest, and sharing conversations with him as a good friend. Since you still seem to be close and unattached, tell him you still love him and want him back. But if talking about your relationship makes him cold, then drop the subject.

If he truly loves you, he will forgive you.
