he's my best friend and i miss him a lot
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Malemy ex and i were dating for about 11 months. we were both each others first everything and we were perfect for each other. we had a relationship based largly on being best friends and that why i think we got along well. twoards april we had our first breakup. we soon got back together but then broke up again. it went like this for a couple times. things finnaly settled and were wonderful again in the summer. but twoards the end of summer he broke up with me again. he didnt want to be in a relationship and have to deal with having a girlfriend. i was extremely heartbroke and while i still feel some hurt i can cope easily. people keep telling me to ignore him to bring him back. i asked him if he had any feelings whatsoever for me and he said no. but when i asked if he ever missed being with me he was like of course i do. i am currently trying to date someone but i cant help but want to be with him. people keep telling me to give it time. we get along well when were are together and he said that he would like to be back together someday but he cant tell the future. he still doesnt want to be in a relationship and it has been 2 months since we have broken up. i am giving him much more space than i used to and am living my life. i want to be with him again someday but im not quite sure if it will happen? hes my best friend and i miss him a lot. thanks.
RomanceClass.com AdviceSince he is your best friend you are in a good position.
Stay his best friend, share feeling and listen to his troubles. With any luck, he will gradually regain those earlier feelings. Don't pressure him... just be his friend.
Good luck! George
