I am an extreme family oriented person. I just want to meet his family
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old FemaleMy boyfriend and I have been dating for almost 7 months. This is both of our first interaccial relation ship. I am black and he's hispanic. When we were dating for 3 months I took him home to meet my family. They absolutley adore him. My 3 year old daughter loves him.
Last month we made a big step to move in together. However, I still have yet to meet his family. His mother gave us basically all the furniture in our house, so she knows of me. It seems as if she or his 28 year old sister doesn't have an interest in meeting me or he doesn't think I'm important enough to meet his family. Which is weird because I met his 2 year old son. I'm extremely confused.
Last night we shared another argument about this situation. He states its because his mother recently was diagnosed with High Blood Pressure.
I am an extreme family oriented person. I just want to meet his family. Oh another thing, his mom lives approximately 6 blocks away. So when we go over there, he tells me he'll be out in a second. Which usually means stay in the car. He told me she knows that I'm black.
What do you think I should do. Is this really a problem or am I making it bigger than it should be.

RomanceClass.com AdviceYou should meet his family.
It is very important to you and it should for him. You can't have a long term relationship without meeting them so why not do it now, especially since you are living together.
Tell your bf again how important it is and don't take no for an answer.
Good luck!
