I really like him and would like to become more than friends
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old FemaleI am a 20 year old female and there is this guy that I really like. We have known and been friends with each other since the 1st grade, we are now out of high school. I didn't really see him as more than a friend until our Junior year in high school. We have always been friends and nothing more and he doesn't now my feelings for him. I really like him and would like to become more than friends. We joke and talk to one another all the time, and he really likes to joke and agervate me in a flirty kind of way, I think anyway. Sometimes he even makes comments about us being together as a couple, and I don't know if its a joke or if he's using a joke to be truthful. He is a shy person, so he might be using a joke to actually tell his real feelings, I'm not sure it's hard to tell. I would like to know if he has the same feelings for me as I do for him? I am a little afraid of confronting him about this, I might scare him away with being so straight forward. I would also like to know if our relationship could go from just being friends to being lovers?
RomanceClass.com AdviceThis sounds promising.
My guess is that you both like each other and just need something to put you together. Try this: sometime when you are alone, tell him you are starting to "develop feelings" for him. If he doesn't answer quickly or evades the statement tell him that you will give him some time to think it over and talk about it the next time you see each other.
Best wishes! George
