last week he was telling me about this place that has a good martini

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
I have only been working at this office for a couple of months and during this time I have developed a crush on my boss. He is a bit of a dork but he is pretty young to be a partner. He always tells me whats on his mind and he comes and asks me funny things. An example would be do I like his hair cut or does his tie go with his shirt and/or suit. we go for coffee sometimes and the conversations are usualy not about work. like last week he was telling me about this place that has a good martini. this morning we were talking about the ability to cook and I said "my father warned me to look out for guys that can't cook they are just after the mother type who will be all domestic for them." and out from his mouth pops "I can cook". I read into all these things and it just feeds my desire. I find myself more interested in what he is doing in his office than getting my work done. I don't don't know what to do. I think I like him enough that I would kick my unemployed self-absorbed boyfriend out of my house and find a new job just to see if there is something between us. I am also unsure of his feelings givin the fact that crushes sometimes tend to lead your mind away from reality. I don't know what to do, I don't know how to act.

RomanceClass.com Advice
Sounds to me like he likes you.

Don't quit your job yet. Follow up on his martini comment and ask him if he would take you there for a drink. See what develops. If romance blossoms then consider looking for another job and losing your loser boyfriend.

Hope things work out for you! George
