How do I find out if the man that i think that I love loves me?

Well I have been in a realtionship for over 6 years now. During those 6 years we have had good and bad times. Well during one of those bad times about 5 years ago. Me and one of his friemds got very close and have remained in an intimate relationship ever since. We used to see each other on a daily bases over the past few months I have back away a little. The problem is that I think about him all the time. There are more catchs to the story up until 2 months ago he was involved in a realtionship for 6 years as well we both started dating our partners about the same time. I'm so confussed and not sure what to do. I'm not sure how to tell the man that I live with that I'm ready to move on. Than the man that I think that i love send me such mixed signals. He calls all the time than i make the effort to see hid and than days go by before I hear from him any more. So confussed and lost. On top of things I have 2 children not with the man that lives with me. How do I find out if the man that i think that I love loves me?

You've been in a relationship with him for five years... you should know by now whether he loves you or not. I'm guessing not since he hasn't made an effort to win you away from the man you live with.

But, why not ask him straight out if he would want to be with you if you were free. If he says yes, then you need to figure out how to do the break up. If he says no then you would probably stay with your current partner.

Before you jump, however, think about the future and your kids. Will their lives be improved by what you might do? Do you feel secure about your boyfriend (my advice is that you should not feel secure with him... he hasn't shown you enough interest after his break up.)
