She loves me & that's all that should matter

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
I have been dating a girl that I am very much in love w/ for several months now. She is 3 yrs. younger than me. It is my first relationship & I have no previous experience. However, she has been in relationships before & has much more experience than I do. This bothers me greatly. I get jealous & she becomes angry w/ me because she says that there is nothing she can do about it now. She loves me & that's all that should matter. I know she's right, but I don't know how to overcome my own jealousy. What should I do?

This is not an unusual situation.

The boy being jealous of what the girl did before. You are right there is nothing you can do about the past.

Try this method of chasing jealousy away: whenever a jealous thought comes into your mind, tell it "She loves me & that's all that should matter." Tell the thoughts to go away and leave you alone. After about 100 times the thoughts will give up and stop bothering you.
