But I cannot just suffer here and wait
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old FemaleWell I am about to turn eighteen right now and I cant seem to get over my ex.He was my first boyfriend and my only boyfriend. We met when I was 14 and we became best friends. He was the person I could always talk to and confide in. After knowing eachother for almost a year we became boyfriend and girlfriend. Everything seemed to be going great in my mind.We went to the same high school and I always pushed him to get good grades and encourged him to go to college. I pushed him too hard, and I realize that now. Well after two years of dating we became secretly engaged. Our relationship lasted for almost 3 years. A little while after i turned 17 I moved an hour away. I thought that we could make it work. Well it lasted for a couple months and things just started falling apart. We broke up and i still really dont know why. Between me always telling him to do better in school and him having trust issues with me living away from him our relationship suffered. We broke up in march and it is already November. After I moved he seemed to hold a type of resentment towards me leaving him, like I had abondoned him. He is 18 and out of high school. I called him a couple weeks ago and told him how I felt and that I love him and have not stopped loving him. But he told me that he doesnt know how he feels. Every question I asked would be I dont know. I mean I know how I feel and I know that no matter what I am always gonna love him and would want to marry him. But I cannot just suffer here and wait. That is why I need advice what to do. Inside of me I feel like I wont be able to love anyone else when I have already given my heart away. But how do I move on?
Please help..
Thank you
Jen
RomanceClass.com AdviceIt sounds like your ex has moved on.
The long-distance romance is probably to blame.
He says he doesn't know how he feels... unfortunately you know what that means. He probably doesn't feel the same way you do.
