"i dont want to argue with you about stupid things so let's think before we say something".
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Malehey i just moved to florida 2 months ago n i have been dating a girl from my home town on and off for little more then 3 years now.it is long distance now and we see each other once a month. almost everyday for the past 2 weeks we have been fighting about the dumbest things ever and getting so p**sed off at each other (like wanting to punch holes in the wall). then the next day were all better like nothing happend, later that night were fighting again about somthing so stupid!!! Like who says i love you first when we get off the phone. for about 10 mins she yelled at me because i didnt say it to he first. do you know anyways not to fight about little stupid things like this?? i have talked to her before about this problem we have and i keep telling her over and over "i dont want to argue with you about stupid things so lets think before we say something". ive thought about looking for a new girl if shes gonna keep making a big deal out of little things cauz it is stressing me out way to much.
thank you
RomanceClass.com AdviceArguing about stupid things is really annoying. And, it can destroy relationships.
Unfortunately, the example you gave about who says I love you first, is not a stupid argument. It matters to her a lot and she wants you to say I love you first. So if you like her, you better start saying it first sometimes.
But, when you do get into stupid arguments have a deal that when you want to stop the argument either one of you says "Peace." If you are in person then give the peace sign.
Good luck! George
