One minute its over and the next its I dont know

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
I want to reply to my entry and the comments that george made. I wanted to get a 2nd job. But my ex wouldnt let me because it would have raised the daycare expenses due to income. I would get the local paper everyday and point out cheaper apartments and cars. It did nothing. Im having a hard time letting go of her because of the things she tells me. One minute its over and the next its I dont know.Ive tried asking for my ring back and to deal w/our personal property(furniture,engagement ring, pictures,etc.)And she says she doesnt want to deal with that right now. Am I reading into this too much because it seems to me that she is still holding on to me for some reason or another but is trying not to let it show.

Try what I said about getting some woman to come in and watch your kids. This will allow you to get a second job. Take charge and move to a cheaper apartment and buy a cheap car. One of you has to care about money and she doesn't seem to.

It does sound like she is still holding on to you. So my advice is to forge ahead (remember to buy life insurance-- buy term insurance don't let the agent talk you into whole life).

Let her know that you are taking steps to improve your life and she will hopefully come back and you can live together.
