I need to know how to become closer to her, without ruining the current friendship I have with her

Well I met this girl some time ago, and now I have begun to like her. I don't know how to get her to like me/ get closer to her. This isn't like typical lust or just plain like. She makes me feel different (In a good way) as coreney as it sounds, but i have strong feelings for her. However, I am not considered necessarily attractive, and she is one of the prettiest girls I know. So i need to know how to become closer to her, without ruining the current friendship I have with her.

You need to gently let her know that you care for her.

To do this tell her that you are "developing feelings" for her. If she says she is too then everything is fine. If she doesn't answer or is wishy-washy then tell her you will give her time to think about it and ask her the next time you see her. And then be sure to do it. Also tell her that the last thing you want to do is to lose her friendship.
