My boyfriend of 7 1/2 YEARS left me for a girl @ his work
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old FemaleMy boyfriend of 7 1/2 YEARS left me for a girl @ his work. He moved out of our place in with her and said he was staying with a guy friend. He has a daughter who is almost 8 that I helped raise since she was a baby. At first he was very mean on the phone when I would call him and he would not call me. Just recently, he has started calling. My birthday was approaching and he asked what I wanted..I told him nothing. On Thanksgiving he called me 5 times. He told me he missed me and he asked if I was dating anyone but that was all that was said in that regard. I am graduating from college soon and he said to be sure I send him a ticket to my graduation. He asked me why I always spend the night at my best friends house (a girl) and I told him it is because it is nice to have someone to talk to. He said that I can talk to him or call him, I told him that I did not want to bother him and he said that I don't bother him. He has been calling now about every other day but has not mentioned anything about wanting to get back together. He is still with the girl at his work. I have noticed over the last 2 weeks that he no longer calls me from his cell phone (that is in her name) but only from his work line? Help! I don't know what to think or understand what is going on.
RomanceClass.com AdviceSorry you are in this situation.
It sounds like your ex is trying to keep both of you at the same time. Or he is missing you and isn't ready to come back or perhaps he isn't sure you want him back.
You haven't made it clear whether you want him back or not. If you do, you should tell him you miss him too and send him tickets to your graduation.
It's too bad your girl has to suffer through this.
My best wishes are with you! George
