I cheated on him 6 months ago

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
My question is that I have been going out with my boyfriend for almost three years and I cheated on him 6 months ago. I cheated on him when I was at my sisters house and everyone knew about it but him. I finally came out and told him about it and he said that he forgave me. It has been 6 months now and we still agrue alot. I am not saying that he should forget about it but I need him to stop saying negative words everytime I am at my sisters house like " who have you been talking to over there" Now he said that I have to choose between them and him. He also said that he never want me to see them again. What should I do? He said that he can't take it anymore and he thinks he does'nt want to be with me anymore. He asked me if I wanted to break up and I said no. Please help me out it is a crisis!

Tell him you will have a trial period where you don't see your sister but that after a while you will have to see her again.

It isn't reasonable for him to ask you to ignore your sister forever. You deserve better than treatment like this even though you made a mistake. A lot of a successful relationship is compromising. Your boyfriend needs to learn this.
