I thought only couples do that
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old FemaleI'm a 14 yr. old freshman in high school and just recently started talking to this boy who is a 16 yr. old junior and the way we met/started talking is kind of silly. Before we got out of school for Christmas break i'd see him in the hallway but we never spoke but the Friday before Christmas i saw in Wal-mart and i'm the type of person that speaks only when spoken to.So while in Wal-mart we saw each other,we looked at each other but i just simply turned around as almost to hide from him and when we returned to school he started talking to me and on Friday we excahnged numbers and on Saturday we were on the phone for about 2 1/2 hrs. but what i don't understand is how our relationship is now becuase on the phone he talks about we are going to go to the mall and go out to eat,see a movie and go shopping but i thought only couples do that and when i was thinking that he had made a comment about me being a freshman and at the end of his sentence he said "it's okay becuase your still my baby" and so i responded by saying when did that happen and he said you have to tell me but i said that "you said it so when did that happen" and he told me "i said it now you have to confirm it" and i said "okay then yes" so my qusetion is does that mean we are dating now???i don't want to ask him because then i'm scard if i'm wrong it will be akward but if i'm right he might think i don't like him if i didn't even know we went together.
RomanceClass.com AdviceIt certainly sounds like he considers you two to be a couple.
And, I think you made it official when you said yes.
If you are not comfortable with that, be sure to let him know that you feel you are going to fast.
Good luck! George
