It hurts more to be the dumpee than the dumper.
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old FemaleHey George!
I gave E* a chance (to quit smoking pot) just like you said and i didn't give up on him cuz i worked so hard to keep this relationship alive but after winter break...without seeing him for 2 weeks...he acts so different all of a sudden. He's not as affectionate and clingy as he was before he told me he smokes. He stopped kissing me or even say i love you to me too...And then, today, i asked him to go to winterball dance with me and he said..."i don't know erica...i don't even know if i still want to be in this relationship or not...i need time to think." Of course, i was shocked hearing this news and i just smiled at him and just walked away. I cried so much today. I mean we still haven't broken up but, he's thinking if he wants to break up with me or not. Oh george...i don't want to loose him! I want to have a heart to heart talk with him but it's review week and finals are next week. Our schedules are soo hectic but i don't want to loose him before that. My friends keeps telling me to break it up with him before he breaks up with me cuz it hurts more to be the dumpee than the dumper.
Help me George...i still want to be in a relationship with him, i don't want to loose him. What should i do?
RomanceClass.com AdviceHe may have started smoking again without your knowledge.
He may be ashamed of doing this behind you back. It might also explain why he doesn't kiss you (so you won't smell the smoke on his breath).
You may have to decide between him and his smoking. Ask him if he is smoking again and if he says yes you will have to decide.
Good luck! George
