He won't come out and say he is over me
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old FemaleIt has been 3 months since me and my boyfriend broke up. We were together for a year and 7 months. Everything was great! We had talked about getting married, our future together and even the names of our kids we were going to have. Then one night, he decided he wanted to spend more time with his friends and didn't have the same feelings anymore. He said I nagged at him too much but said he just felt this way all of a sudden and said he never imagined ever breaking up with me. We have talked and fought for the past 3 months. We were gonna get back together after being broken up for 3 weeks but he decided he didn't want to anymore. He won't come out and say he is over me or doesn't love me anymore which confuses me. I eventually stopped talking to him for a couple weeks at a time and found out that he was mad about that because he wanted to be friends and we never talk. But I thought by doing that, he would get to missing me and call me. It seems like everytime I tell him i'm moving on or getting over him, he comes up with sometime to make me fall for him again. I just dont' understand if he is the one that broke up with me, why does he want to talk to me so bad and gets upset when i don't call him? But he never calls me in the 2 weeks we go without talking. I want him back so bad but have never gone a long time without talking to him to actually make him miss me. What should I do?
RomanceClass.com AdviceYou need to do something to break out of the rhythm that you too have right now because it isn't working well.
To do this, call him only once a week: ask how he is doing, tell him you still care about him. Be cheerful, don't talk about your relationship, and only talk for 15 min.
This will give him the space he needs and give you the contact you need.
Maybe this will shake things up and get them moving on the right track.
Good luck! George
