Should I just keep bottling up these feelings?
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old FemaleI'm currently with someone (5 months), who I love (or atleast think I do), but I still have really strong feelings for my ex... even though we don't talk. I don't want to keep leading my boyfriend on, because I feel like I can't really love him until I get closure, but my ex won't talk to me. Should I just keep bottling up these feelings and go on with my life?
RomanceClass.com AdviceIf your ex won't talk to you then you have no chance of closure with him.
You will have to find a way to reach closure without him. This might do the trick: have a two way outloud talk where you play the role of your ex and yourself. Discuss what you need to discuss and see what happens. You may discover that the facts of closure are few and not important. Or you may find you have a giant issue of closure that you could talk over with friends.
Hope this helps! George
