RomanceClass.com AdviceYou're looking at this 'finding a girlfriend' like a quest for a Gold Coin, that it's somehow different from having normal friends. It's not, and if you go into it treating this potential girlfriend as if she's an exotic animal it'll make the relationship difficult. A girlfriend is a Girl that is a Friend. She's already a Girl, so focus on the Friend part :)
Do you have female friends right now? If not, it's time to get some! It's VERY healthy to have friends of both sexes during your entire life. It gives you a rounded outlook on the world. If you only have male friends right now, that's part of your problem! You don't know how to even relate to females. So address that first.
I'm assuming you're in school. So you have it easy, you're surrounded by girls, and you have all sorts of common things to talk about. Be friendly. Ask a girl what she thought of the homework. Say that you forgot which page number or whatever it was. Talk about the teacher. There are all sorts of easy, innocuous questions to talk to people about.
You have to practice your skills in talking to people, just like any other skills. You can't just "learn a line" and suddenly be a Flirt God if you can't even talk to girls on a normal, casual basis :) Flirting is all about being COMFORTABLE and having FUN talking to people. That takes practice. So start practicing!
Once you have Girls that are Friends, undoubtedly one will stand out as the one you have the most fun with, and the one that enjoys talking with you all the time. That's when you start moving on to a closer relationship!
