I get tired which makes kissing unenjoyable

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
I find it awkard when kissing my girlfriend when we're lying down (with me on top) - like on a couch or in a park. I cant seem to get comfortable and usually I get tired which makes kissing unenjoyable. Could you please tell me how I should properly position myself. Pics would be very helpful as well.
