I believe they do work
Im only a 14 year old girl and i have been in a long-distance or internet relationship with a lad whos 15 for over a year now. We are really close and we have so much in common, we talk on msn more or less everyday and have done for the past year and few months and have met up alot, we try to meet up atleat once every 3 weeks and on special occaisions like birthdays ect. We also stay in touch via texting or landline phones and talk for hours at a time. Some people think we wont last or we are just having a silly little fling, but to me and him its more than that. The key to a long distance relationship is trust. You have to trust the person you are dating or it will not work as you both will be throwing accusations in eachothers faces of cheating and its a difficult situation. In a way long distance relationships are a good thing as when you meet up, it brings you closer together and you arent likely to get bored of being with that person. Also if you havn't met the person and you are planning on doing so never go alone, `, no matter how well you think you know the person it doesnt always go as planned, luckily it did for me and im very greatful, best of luck to anyone in this situation x
