Type A
Calling people a 'Type A Personality' is fairly common in modern times. In this system, a type A personality is someone who is very aggressive, a go-getter, someone who wants to be the controller in a situation. A type A person is someone who thrives on challenge, who wants to become president of their company, who sky dives, that sort of thing.
Usually calling someone a "Type A" is to say they have an issue, that they are too focused on the high of dangerous behavior and not relaxing enough.
