Closure

Eventually - when the anger and pain of why the relationship didn't work has been lessened (perhaps a few months) - the two involved will want closure. This could be the time to really be honest about what you did wrong and what you feel they did wrong. This is also the time when games aren't played anymore and if you are both open to listening there might be a chance to reconcile. And, it's ok to cry together and get it all out, but only if you really trust the other party will not use your vulnerability to hurt you. And if you trust them that much, then why the heck do some people seperate for anyway? In other words, there is no right answer here, things will be if they are meant to be.
