Know Your Partner
You´ve probably heard all the stories - men pretending to be women, women pretending to be men, 40 year olds pretending to be 15. You really *can´t* know what your on line friend is like until you meet him or her in person. Before committing yourself fully, emotionally, to someone, you need to find out what this person is really like, in person. Make the effort to meet him or her, and to spend some time before you get too involved.
