Donīt Vent
For a while, venting was in style. It was the way to īblow off steamī so that the anger didnīt build inside you. With all this venting, researchers now find that venting often makes things worse! Someone who vents tends to vent more and more often, and become īusedī to venting. A venter also causes health problems by building up the stress levels in their system during a venting session.
Thatīs not to say you should store the anger inside. The anger should definitely come out. Have it come out productively, though, as a focused effort to resolve the issue. Just venting tends to make things worse.
