Mother of Pearl
Mother of Pearl is carved from the shell of mollusks. In essence, the 'stuff' that becomes a pearl when a piece of dust is in a shell simply lines the inside of the shell if no dust is present.
Mother of pearl stands for sincerity and protection from harm.
