Tales of the Ex @ RomanceClass - "Happy birthday, I'm dumping you!" My boyfriend and I had only been going out for three weeks. That's not much people, but I felt pretty content and happy with him. Not to mention that, although he seemed afraid of commitment, he started sitting with me at lunch and spending time with me everywhere! Of course I thought that meant we were getting stronger and was excited to see what would happen in the next few days, especially April 26th - my birthday. Well, my birthday came and I wondered if he got me something. He gave me something all right - the cold shoulder. I tried to talk to him, but all day long he just ignored me completely. Then Language Arts came, and before class started, he walked right up to me and snapped, "Happy birthday, I'm dumping you!" at me before walking away.
