Tales of the Ex @ RomanceClass - openess in a relationship is important i was in a 2 1/2 year relationship with a guy who has been my friends since college. when we started the relationship, we were both married to our respective spouses and were quite concious of the consequences of our actions. we have made clear to each other that no one of us will demand for the other to leave our respective families and thought everything was fine. the first 1 1/2 year was so precious because it was just the two of us. but the next few months were like hell because a number of people got in between us without them consiously knowing so. i know that i care for my "friend" but after 2 1/2 years, when i asked my partner what he feels about the relationship and his answer is "honestly, i dont know", i knew that it wasn't worth it. we just recently broke up but im feeling fine. i hope whoever gets to read this will know that openess in a relationship is important. especialy if feelings is concerned. you have to let your partner know that you care. don't tell them you don't know just because you don't want to be vulnerable to the feelings you. show them and tell them.
