Tales of the Ex @ RomanceClass - he's in for a rude awakening. Never again!!!! I just have to get this off my chest. My boyfriend and I had been dating for 2 years when I became pregnant with our son. We got engaged, and were supposed to get married- but as a result of his emotionally incestuous relationship with his mother, our wedding plans were cancelled (i.e. we couldn't please her with the arrangements, the wedding list, etc, so I gave up). We had our son in July of 05. For the most part, he was supportive but then he began this regime of verbal abuse toward me, so I moved back home (with the baby) to my parents' house- I was lucky to have them. Ex fiance and I tried and tried to "work", but no matter what kind of resolution he made, he always ended up treating me like dirt- calling me names, putting me down, putting his mother on a pedestal and answering to her every beck and call. Just two weeks ago, he came knocking at my window at 9am, and asked me to come to the door so we could "talk". He said he wanted to do better, and that he was afraid that I had "moved on" from him and didn't want that to happen. So, stupid me- I thought it must mean he was REALLY going to change. He went right back to putting me down, name calling, etc only after a few days. Yesterday, his friend emailed me to let me know that he had gone out and fooled around with some married (but separated woman) who has a child. How ironic. And hurtful. He moved on the the first easy woman who showed any interest in him. When he realizes what he's done and wants to try and rekindle something between himself and me, he's in for a rude awakening.
