I knew beforehand that his parents applied as immigrants to the United States. One day, it was Christmas season, his mom received a phone call from the embassy that their petition was granted. Cut the story short, after a month, they left for U.S. He said he will be coming home for me. At the back of my mind, I am willing to wait no matter how long would it take. Few months later, things changed. I know life didn't work well financially for them when they were still here(our place). He sent me a message saying, things will no longer work for us. Life is way better in the United States. If I cant be with him there, then its better for us to part ways. I have my own reasons why I cant live this place. Its been three years now since he left and two years with no communication. Just recently, I reopened the door for communication between us.
