Little did I know that he meant shopping for a husband. We went into an antique shop and Dad stopped and talked to the owner. I looked around. The minute I heard the owner talk I was mesmerized. I looked up and fell in love. The rest of the time we were in there I could not function. After we left, I told my Dad. I just met the man that I am going to marry. He said, I know--why do you think I introduced you. Over the next three months, we kept bumping into each other at different events. I thought they were accidental. Later, I found out that he was making sure that they were happening. I thought that I was the only one who was blown away from our first meeting, but on our first anniversary, he wrote me a card that told me what I was wearing, what I had said and what I had bought from him that day. 10 years later and 2 kids later, we are still mesmerized by each other.
