Love Stories @ RomanceClass - By the end of the night, I was already so in love with him This story starts my junior year of high school, about a week before summer vacation, and I have to say, it was completely unexpected. Me and a friend from my forensic science class were supposed to be going on a field trip the next day. She lived out of town and we had to be at the school at 6 a.m. the next day, so she wanted to know if she could stay at my house that night, so of course I said it was fine. Well, after I said it was alright she told me that she was supposed to be meeting some guy at the mall later on that afternoon, so we both went out there. While we were driving to the mall she told me that he was really hot, but of course I didn't believe her because she said that about EVERY guy, and they usually never were. Well, this time she wasn't lying. We got to the mall and I was totally blown away. This guy was amazing. However, before we had gotten there, I had called the guy that I had a crush on at the time, and told HIM to meet us there too, because I didn't want to feel like a third wheel. So then when everybody got there, "Brian" (the guy my friend was supposed to meet) started talking to me, and ignoring my friend. Of course I didn't complain. So after being at the mall for a while, we all went back to my house, we sat out in the yard for a while and all talked and played basketball. Then "Nate" (my crush) had to leave, so it was just me, my friend, and "Brian". By the end of the night, I was already so in love with him, but I thought he liked my friend, and so I didn't want to say anything. When he left I got my friend to give me his number, but I never got the chance to call him because he was gone in Cleveland for a senior trip the next week. So after that I got his email address and talked to him on the computer. He told me he was interested in me, well I told him the feeling was mutual. So we decided to meet the next day at my house and talked for almost 5 hours. We talked about absolutely everything. We ended up having our first kiss that night, and it was awesome, I officially started going out with the guy I wanted so bad. He came over all the time after that for the next about 1 1/2 weeks, and about a week after we started going out, he was like, "I know this may be soon, but I wanna tell you I love you." I threw my arms around him and told him I loved him too. Well, after that, he informed me that he was in the Army, and would have to be leaving for the summer to go to Basic Training. I didn't have any clue how much I would miss him until that day came around when he had to leave. Those were the WORST eight weeks of my life. Well, we went down to Oklahoma for his graduation for Basic, and that first time I saw him down there, it was love at first sight all over again. I had butterflies in my stomach all over again. Then he had to go away for college, which was hard too because he had to leave me again. I hated that, and he did too, but the college was too far away from his family and he didn't enjoy his major so he decided to drop out and wait for a year to figure out exactly what he wanted to do. Then in October, which was about 3 months after he got back from Oklahoma, he asked me to marry him. It was one of the happiest days of my life. Me and him grew closer and closer every day, and throughout my senior year of high school we were together almost every single day. We did everything together, and enjoyed every minute of it. After my graduation, he had to go back to Oklahoma again to finish his training for the Army. The day he was supposed to leave, he told me that he may have to go to Iraq... what a thing to find out before him leaving for 8 weeks, again. He is still in Oklahoma, and is coming back in about 2 1/2 weeks. I really cannot wait for that day. I miss him so much, and can't wait to see him again.
